The All Wales Medical Genomics Service (AWMGS) attended the 14th Annual MediWales Awards ceremony on December 4th at the National Museum of Wales, an opportunity for over '300 VIP guests to celebrate the achievements of the NHS, Life Sciences and Health Technology Communities'.
Throughout the course of the evening, recipients were honoured across 10 different categories with AWMGS scooping the award for 'Efficiency through Technology Programme - High Impact Award'.
Other honourable achievements were given to Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (AWMGS hosting organisation) for winning the 'Innovation within NHS Wales' award and the NHS judges Award for it's 'Staying Steady Schools Project'.
