Notification of potential delay in processing genetic test results.

The laboratory is committed to implementing a new Genetics Laboratory Information Management System (GLIMS) in the next few months, and is currently in the final build and validation phase of the system.  This is expected to cause some disruption as staff are deployed to deliver this, that may also impact on operational capacity.

Please be advised that there may be a delay in reporting certain test results, responding to emails including processing any requests. The laboratory will focus on ensuring that the most clinically urgent results are reported within the expected turnaround times.

We kindly ask that you do not contact the laboratory during this period unless it is urgent.
