Notification of changes to DPYD Reporting Pathway to uploading Welsh Clinical Portal (WCP) only
As of the 2nd September 2024, all DPYD reports will be uploaded to WCP only. DPYD reports will no longer be emailed or posted to referring clinicians and secretaries.
Testing variants in dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPYD) gene is a critical test for cancer patients being treated with chemotherapy. Between 2022-23, AWMGS processed approximately 2433 samples. The laboratory team is committed to providing an efficient, streamlined service. This change will enhance service provision and increase user accessibility to reports, improving patient care.
