The All Wales Medical Genomics Service (AWMGS) is thrilled to announce the launch of the CYmru Service for Genomic Oncology DIagnoses, otherwise abbreviated as CYSGODI.
This service utilises the illumina TruSight Oncology 500 HT DNA/RNA panel and will replace the current solid tumour next generation sequencing multi-gene panel (PanCancer Panel), and in due course will incorporate the current haemato-oncology next generation sequencing multi-gene panel (TruSight Myeloid Sequencing Panel).
Using this new technology, our laboratory will be the first in the UK to benefit from greater flexibility in the numbers of samples we can sequence using our NovaSeq 6000 and will allow Welsh patients and clinicians access to appropriate clinical trials.
